All Inn Hotel & FiNO Named 2026 Sunset Travel Awards Winners
There’s a certain kind of place that gets better with time. Not because it has been preserved behind glass, but because it keeps finding new ways to be lived in.
That’s what makes the recognition of All Inn Hotel and FiNO in Sunset’s 2026 Travel Awards especially meaningful. This month, Sunset Magazine named All Inn a winner in Where to Stay: Historic Hotels, recognizing a select group of properties across the West that have held onto the character, architecture, and stories that make them worth returning to. FiNO was named a winner in Where to Eat & Drink: Dialed Up Drinks, joining a collection of bars recognized for inventive, deeply considered cocktail programs.
Both honors land in the same place: Colfax Avenue.
All Inn Hotel and FiNO occupy a restored 1959 motor lodge in Denver’s City Park neighborhood, bringing new energy to a piece of the city’s history without sanding away what made it interesting in the first place. Colfax has always been a street with a point of view — equal parts glamour, grit, character, and possibility — and the hotel was conceived with that history in mind.
The result is not a recreation of another era. It’s a contemporary hospitality experience built around an existing sense of place: a historic motor lodge thoughtfully brought back to life, a bar with a point of view, and a neighborhood that continues to evolve around it.
For FiNO, Dialed Up Drinks feels particularly fitting. The cocktail program shares the same philosophy that shaped the hotel itself: take something familiar, approach it with curiosity, and make it exceptionally well. The drinks are unexpected without being precious, and the room feels like the kind of place you might discover on a night out and quickly decide you should have known about sooner.
The Sunset Travel Awards are among the West’s most closely followed travel honors, spanning hotels, restaurants, bars, and destinations throughout the region. To see All Inn and FiNO recognized alongside some of the West’s most distinctive hospitality properties is a meaningful marker for what is happening on Colfax — and for the kind of destination Denver continues to become.
But awards like this ultimately belong to the people behind the experience.
The front desk team that remembers your name by the second night. The FiNO bartenders who know that a great drink is as much about the person making it as what goes into the glass. The housekeepers, kitchen team, maintenance crew, and everyone else who keeps a 1959 building running beautifully, day after day.
A publication like Sunset sees the finished experience. We get to see the work that makes it possible.
We’re grateful for both.
And if you haven’t made your way to Colfax lately, consider this your invitation to come see what’s taking shape here — stay awhile, order a drink, and experience the neighborhood for yourself.
